Senior Employee Remuneration note Statement of accounts


I wonder if I can have some input into which roles authorities include in their remuneration note. I note that the monitoring officer is not a statutory post as per Section 2(6) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 as amended. In my authority the monitoring officer does not report directly to the Head of Paid service, but to another director, this role has not been included in the senior employee note, but I wonder if it should be and which criteria in the Code of Practice this would fall under.
